Electrical Engineering Safety Seminar

The NSW Resources Regulator is seeking experienced and enthusiastic presenters for the annual Electrical Engineering Safety Seminar on 7 and 8 November 2018 at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth, Sydney. The theme is ‘Back to Basics’.

Share your ideas and knowledge

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals to share their experience and insight and broaden industry’s knowledge on work health and safety issues and initiatives in electrical engineering safety in the mining industry. Presenters will need to deliver informative, educational and practical presentations matched to audience needs and levels of experience on issues related to the systematic approach to identify, evaluate and control the risks associated with the use of electricity at mines.

Presentation format and content

Presentations are typically 30 minutes long and may involve co-presenters. PowerPoint slideshows and/or other audio-visual materials are welcome; interactive, case-study based formats are highly encouraged. The focus must be towards a safety or technical problem or project and its challenges, how it was dealt with and its benefits. Presentations must not include brand promotion or sales pitches.
