Liebherr mining establishes a simulation agreement

Liebherr Mining and ThoroughTec Simulation have signed a world-wide cooperation agreement that will provide Liebherr customers with access to the world’s most advanced operator training simulators and related services, which Liebherr believes are, “essential for honing the skills of workers operating heavy mining equipment”.

Through this agreement Liebherr Mining will provide confidential technical information, and subject matter expertise to ThoroughTec during the design, development and testing of new Liebherr mining equipment simulators. This collaboration will ensure that the latest capabilities and technical innovations found in Liebherr mining machines are fully and accurately replicated in all new-generation ThoroughTec simulators.

According to Liebherr, such simulators, in combination with other training technologies and services will empower Liebherr customers to “elevate operators to the target level of production, performance, and machine care”.
