More than 200 people are expected to attend the 5th 2020 Resources Training Council Conference targeted at resources and mining training practitioners in Brisbane next year.
The two-day conference and exhibition event, to be held on 25-26 May 2020, will focus on the delivery of better training and safety outcomes for Australian workforces in resources and associated industries.
The theme of the conference ‘Driving Quality Training’ will focus on driving improvement in skilling and training to ensure that all Australian resources industry workers go home safely every shift.
The conference is aimed at bringing people together across all resources sectors in Queensland, Australia and abroad such as New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. Individuals in roles such as legislators, training managers, safety health and training managers, training superintendents and coordinators, site training personnel, RTO personnel, trainer and assessors, service contractors and labour-hire personnel will be in attendance.
The 2020 event also encompasses the Innovative Skilling Awards Dinner. Three trophies will be presented to recognise creativity and leading practice in driving quality training in the industry.
