MAKING PORTABLE POWER DISTRIBUTION SAFE
The need to isolate power at the lead prior to changing a grinding disk, drill bit
or disconnection of tools is becoming a common workplace proceedure. This is
now a simple task with the Powersafe switched extension lead socket. An IP66
switched 10A or 15A socket used in conjunction with an Earth screened lead. This
combination has significant safety features. The Earth screen providing additional
mechanical and electrical protection, and the switched outlet preventing
disconnection under load. The switched socket also incorporates a bright LED
light allowing the user to see if power is isolated or not before connection.
