Since contract commencement in April 2009, WARAME has successfully evacuated approximately 330 patients from the Pilbara and Kimberly regions of Western Australia with varying levels of acuity, several life threatening. [EMERGENCY RESPONSE] W ARAME was developed as an incremental turnkey solution to ease the ever increasing shortage of emergency medical services on the north west shelf of Australia. The clear intent behind the proposal was to significantly improve patient outcomes by implementing a dedicated range of fully integrated health services, including medical assets, into the Pilbara and Kimberly regions of Western Australia.
