Mine Sites Share the Load of Emergency Medical Services The Western Australia Resources Aeromedical Evacuation (WARAME) service is currently the only fully integrated health logistics service dedicated to the oil, gas and mining resources sector. and Vermillion, the parties implemented and executed a Sharing Agreement with Terms and Conditions common to each house. WARAME provides end to end patient care including extraction from anywhere within the defined Area of Operations by road, ambulance, fixed wing AME Intensive Care Unit (ICU), jet or third party rotary wing helo. They can service rigs, vessels, bulk carriers as well as mining sites. Since contract commencement in April 2009, WARAME has successfully evacuated approximately 330 patients from the Pilbara and Kimberly regions of Western Australia with varying levels of acuity, several life threatening. [EMERGENCY RESPONSE] W ARAME was developed as an incremental turnkey solution to ease the ever increasing shortage of emergency medical services on the north west shelf of Australia. The clear intent behind the proposal was to significantly improve patient outcomes by implementing a dedicated range of fully integrated health services, including medical assets, into the Pilbara and Kimberly regions of Western Australia.
